- Lesson 1: Creating, Copying, and Pasting Basic Formulas - 1.a describe formula and function syntax, 1.b create basic formulas, 1.c paste formulas with relative references, 1.d create quick calculations with status bar options and Sum (AutoSum), 1.e paste formulas with mixed or absolute references, and 1.f paste formulas’ results as values.
- Lesson 2: Creating Complex Formulas - 2.a enter formulas on grouped worksheets, 2.b use Formula AutoComplete and create formulas with 3-D references, 2.c use the Insert Function icon and the Function Library, 2.d use defined names as function arguments, and 2.e apply conditional formatting to formulas’ results.
- Lesson 3: Identifying and Correcting Errors - 3.a use the Error Checking feature and the Trace Error icon to identify and correct common errors, 3.b use the Formula Auditing tools to trace a formula’s precedent and dependent cells, 3.c create and resolve a circular reference in a formula, 3.d use color-coded cell borders to correct a cell reference error in a formula, 3.e step through a nested formula, 3.f use the Watch Window toolbar to view cells, 3.g display the active workbook in multiple windows, 3.h split a single worksheet into multiple panes, and 3.i protect and unprotect cells and hide formulas.
