40 Years of Keeping Professionals Current

Founded in 1985 by Jack Surgent, the company was built on a single belief: accounting and finance professionals deserve education that respects their time, keeps pace with the real world, and delivers practical knowledge they can apply the next day.

What started as a regional provider has grown into the accounting industry's most comprehensive CPE platform — partnering with nearly all state societies of CPAs, hundreds of top accounting firms, and thousands of individual professionals across the country.

We've always been known as the first to market when tax legislation passes or auditing standards shift.
